OASIS / LEGAL — PRIVACY POLICY

Your data, clearly.

Oasis has no accounts. Simulations are stored anonymously, a wallet is optional and read-only, and nothing is used for advertising. This policy explains the little data involved.

Who we are

Oasis (“Oasis”, “we”, “us”) is an experimental research project by [Oasis operating entity — name, entity type and jurisdiction] on thermal infrastructure for AI data centers: modular cooling and heat recovery, a public thermal simulator, research notes and a Solana token page. Oasis does not operate a data center and does not hold anyone’s funds.

You can contact us about privacy at team@oasis.local.

02

No accounts, no identity

There are no user accounts. You never give us your name, email address, phone number or identity documents to browse the site or run the simulator.

Connecting a Solana wallet is optional. When you connect one, the app reads only your public wallet address, to show your OASIS balance and transfers. We never ask the wallet to sign anything, and we never see or hold your keys.

03

What is processed

  • Simulations. When you run the simulator, the inputs you enter (IT load, temperature, humidity, WUE, cooling type, buffer size, recovery on/off) and the modeled result are stored anonymously under a random public ID, so the result can be shared by link and counted in the public “simulations run” total. They are not linked to a person or a wallet.
  • Wallet address (optional). If you connect a wallet, its public address is sent to our API to look up your OASIS balance and recent transfers, which are public on Solana anyway. We do not store it against a profile.
  • Technical data. Like any web service, our hosting provider processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver pages, rate-limit abuse and keep the service secure. [Retention period to be confirmed.]
  • Your browser. The app keeps small preferences in your browser’s local storage (for example the last wallet you connected). You can clear them at any time.
04

Third-party services

The app relies on providers that process data under their own policies: [hosting provider], [database / cache provider], Solana RPC providers (for network and token data), and a market-data source such as DexScreener for token liquidity and volume. Your wallet software is governed by its own policy.

Solana is a public blockchain: anything recorded on it, including token transfers, is public and permanent, and we cannot change it.

05

How the data is used

The limited data above is used to run the simulator, show shared results, publish aggregate counts, operate and secure the service, and comply with law. It is not used for advertising, and it is not sold.

06

Sharing

Simulation results are visible to anyone with their link. Otherwise we share data only with the service providers listed so the app can function, where legally required, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users and the service.

07

Security

We minimise the data at stake: the strongest protection is not collecting it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Never enter personal or confidential information into simulator fields.

08

Your choices and rights

You can use everything without a wallet, disconnect a wallet at any time, and clear local storage in your browser. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access or delete personal data; because simulations are anonymous we may be unable to link one to you. Contact us at team@oasis.local.

09

Children

Oasis is not directed at children under 13 [or the applicable age in your jurisdiction], and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the “Last updated” date when we do.
